How we test for performance

We operate systematic testing processes for the validation and optimization of our Hybrion stacks – from single cell to the full-size electrolysis stack.

Comprehensive testing process

This process combines testing at every scale. Through sub-scale-, single-cell and short-stack tests, we achieve a granular understanding of the core processes. In full-size stack testing we verify performance, durability, and real-world readiness.

End-of-line functional testing

Before leaving our plant, Hybrion stacks are tested under real operating conditions to ensure that each stack delivers optimal results for the customer right from the start.

System validation

At our Bamberg site, we operate a hydrogen ecosystem to test our Hybrion stacks under real-world conditions. This unique role as manufacturer, operator, and end-user provides us with deep system-level expertise to continuously optimize our products.
